THE PERFORMANCE PLAN

FEEL LIKE YOU ARE NOT REACHING YOUR FULL POTENTIAL?

This is probably one of the most common issues that we see with golfers. As we seek improvement we often see major technical improvements lead to little or no improvement in overall scores. In the search for perfection we often see golfers simply find constant frustration, and ultimately never really achieving their full potential on the course.

WHY DOES IT HAPPEN?

There can be any number of reasons for this occurring, however there are a number that are extremely common amongst golfers, and it comes down to the 3 P's of performance:

  • POOR PLANNING - Without a doubt the number one issue that I see in golfers is very simply that there is no goal!! With no destination in min it becomes extremely difficult to track accountability, progress and sometimes even have enough motivation to get the work done that is required.

  • POOR PRACTICE - As golfers..... we definitely do not practice like we play! Think about it, during a practice session you probably hit 20 balls with each club in a row to the same target.... When do you ever do this on the golf course!!??

  • POOR PROCESS - Our ultimate search for that RESULT, that perfect round and ultimately that winning feeling will almost always lead us down the path of what we see as an "Instant win". That can be looking for the secret of the swing, trying to find a club that magically hits the ball straight, or even a training aid that has promised so much on TV! Ultimately, sticking to a good process will help you think clearer both on and off the course while helping you develop a good mental outlook during your tournament rounds.

HOW CAN WE HELP?

The solution to this problem is not as difficult as it may often seem. In fact it is as simple as making a choice between doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, or changing your approach to how you practice in order to learn how to perform when it means the most to you.

The Performance Plan is designed to help you organise your development, create the ultimate accountability plan and also give you a different outlook on how you should really practice. You will learn the skills required to play the game under pressure, rather than simply learning to swing the club differently. Our approach is designed to test your skill, psychology and ultimately your performance while you practice in order to make scoring on the course a far easier task and a bi product of you work done off the course.
